AirVectors: OKB MiG

greg goebel

* Although the Soviet OKB (experimental design bureau) led by Artyom Mikoyan and his deputy Mikhail Gurevich failed to develop the USSR's major fighters during World War II, in the postwar era the MiG OKB's jet fighter -- MiG-9, MiG-15, MiG-17, MiG-19, MiG-21, MiG-23, MiG-25, MiG-27, MiG-29, and MiG-31 -- would prove so dominant that the name "MiG" would become almost synonymous with any Soviet jet fighter. This set of documents provides a survey of the MiG fighter series.
